Calls and texts from telemarketers

Is there any way to stop Telus Mobility from selling prepaid cell info to telemarketers?  Its eating into my cell time and an invasion of privacy. Who can we call or pay off to have this stop?

Would registering the phone number to NDNC also block vacation scam calls and SMS?

DNC probably wont work very well as scammers aren't really interested in playing by the rules. If you cant find who they are, or if they're outside of Canada, there's not really any way to enforce the DNC list.

Hope you are not filling out contest entry forms with your prepaid number.  They are basically spam recruitment lists.
