Asurion Coverage is a Scam

I attempted to file a claim with Asurion so that I could repair a Samsung phone on the Telus 'Bring it Back' plan.  The claim was denied, and upon a follow up call the representative was extremely obstructive, focusing on little details about the phone and required confirmations etc etc.  He actually got mad at me!  THIS COVERAGE IS NOT WORTH IT!  Having been a Telus customer since the '90s I'm extremely disapointed that Telus uses this company to back their product.

Asuron seems the only supplier in the business, as to my knowledge, all the carriers are using them, unfortunately.

There is Asurion and Assurant.  Both are equally as bad as the other.  With the money you could have saved on the device insurance, you probably could have replaced your device easily enough out of pocket.
