5G+ SA feature is great out. I live outside the GTA.

I currently am using iPhone 15 Pro Max and since I’ve had it which is almost a year I’ve been I’m unable to use a standalone feature. It is greyed out. I’ve been debating whether or not I should be going to a retail store and have them look at it.

And I apologize for the typo in the subject line. It should say greyed out.

The retail stores won't be able to do anything for it. They're primarily there to sell things. I've always had that feature greyed out on my iPhone also. It gives the message that the current SIM doesn't support it but Telus only has the one SIM to choose from.

5G SA needs to be enabled network side for your device to make use of it.  Like VoLTE, VoNR or 5G SA is a feature that is deployed on the carrier side in areas where the carrier deemed it worth deploying.  Even if you could enable the feature on your device.  That does not mean you will be able to make calls over 5G unless the network where you are supports it.
