Community Power UserIf you received a text about roaming when you first got to Thailand, your phone had cellular enabled at least at that point. When I was overseas I SIM locked my iPhone before I landed. Absolute guarantee against accidentally turning off airplane mode and using any cellular data or receiving any SMS or calls. Just don't forget the code you set when locking the SIM.
