Hello bruceadams2.  If you are getting a no service message are you inside a building? I would suggest going outside to make or receive calls as the signal the phone receives may be obstructed by the concrete structure of the building.  Another suggestion would be to turn the phone off, check to see if there is a SIM card in the phone, wait 5 to 10 seconds, turn the phone on, wait for the phone to fully activate itself,  check to see if there is an "LTE" symbol and a strong set of bars in the top right corner of the screen next to the battery indicator.  If there is try to make a call.  If those suggestions don't work then the next best bet would be to give TELUS Technical Support a call to find out what solution they can figure out for you.   Best of Luck getting this issue fixed!!!
