We want to download new OS onto our phone but  each time we try it says insuffucient memory. Do we need to remove most or all of the pics/ vidieos we have collected on the phone? If so what is the simplest way to do so?

Yes, you may need to download photos to your computer to free up space.

Ther are many instructions how to do this on the internet. Please Google, Bing or Yahoo the question of how to download to your operating system.
