It's 35$ charged on your next monthly bill to unlock any Telus phone that's been active on their network for at least 90 days. You can get your unlock code by reaching *611, 1-866-558-2273 or reach @TELUSsupport on Twitter

Can you clarify what you mean by "active"? I have a telus phone that i received with a 2 yr plan but I'm not using the phone. Are you suggesting if I never use it, it can't get unlocked after 90 days? My impression was that it could get unlocked after 90 days of an active account (whether you use the phone or not).

Can a phone be transferred on the Telus network? Ie. if I have a Telus phone that I'm not using, can I pass it to my husband to use if he gets a Telus SIM card and plan?
