Nano SIM for Alcatel phone

PrinceGeorge1
Neighbour
I purchased a 3 in1 TELUS SIM card from a local dealer here in Prince Geoege for my Alcatel IdealXcite phone which takes a Nano SIM The SIM card is to big for the SIM slot. How do I get a SIM for this phone that will fit? Also, the person who sold me the card has very little knowledge in regards to TELUS product's. Not happy about the way I was treated by sales person.

Was it this one?

The nano sim is mainly just the golden chip in the centre with the little white edge on it.

Yes it was the same as the picture.
The SIM slot in the phone is smaller than the Nano SIM on the 3 n 1 card.
I can't see how it would fit?

Each size can be popped out of that.  The Nano SIM is slightly bigger than the actual contacts for the pins inside of the device.  You should be able to pop it out without too much of an effort.

What the whole 3-in-1 SIM means, is that depending on the size you need, you can pop it out.  The largest size SIM has two smaller sizes.  As mentioned, the Nano SIM is literally just the gold area with a slight bit of white around it.  If you flip the SIM over so the gold contacts are face down.  Do you see a groove around basically the size of the gold area on the other side?  If so, that will pop out.

SIM trays can vary based on the phone.  Does your SIM slide in after taking the back off of the phone or does it use a SIM tray that slides out of the side?  Some phones also take a MicroSD card.  Make sure you are putting the right size SIM in the right place.

Thanks for the reply. The phone has a spot to slide the SIM card, only goes one way.
I looked carefully at the SIM card can not see any grooves which show to make the SIM card any smaller. Going to TELUS store this morning to see if they can help out.
