Locked SIM

I accidentally locked my SIM didn't realize I knew or remembered the PIN. Now how do I unlock the darn thing. It asked for a PUK. What is that?

If it's at the point where it is asking for a PUK code it's not too late to salvage your sim card, just contact Telus or tweet them at @TELUSsupport and ask for the PUK code. But if you've already unsuccessfully tried to unlock it past the PUK code point, you won't be able to unlock the sim card and will need to purchase a new one.
