How do I enable the 'text link' feature on my LG G2?

I also own the LG G2 phone and have printed off the user guide for this phone.

When you mean 'text link' are you trying to link more than one message together before sending or are you trying to create an attachment like putting into an email?

Start off by setting up and composing your message as you would normally do,  After your message tap the 3 horizontal lines to open the options menu, choose from quick message, insert smiley, schedule sending, add subject and discard.

TIP!! You can also tap the paperclip icon to attach the file you want to share with the message. 

Responses will appear on the screen.  As you view and send additional messages a message thread is created.

Your phone combines SMS (Short Message Service) and MMS (Multimedia Message Service - designed to handle photos, video and audio clips in addition to text).

Hi,

The Text Link feature automatically recognizes 'event' information in any text message or email and allows you to add it to your calendar. The information is in plain English prose, such as "meet me at ABC at 3:30 today". My G2 does not do this, and the option to enable the feature does not appear in the main settings menu, where the G2 manual says it should be.

Unfortunately, Canadian version of G2 doesn't have text link feature. Hopefully, this awesome feature will be extended for canadian version soon.
