Galazy II turning on network

Just unlocked a Galaxy II from Rogers and put my Telus SIM card in. Everything is working except the network. In settings the mobile network is turned on, and I can connect to the internet over wi-fi, but not when it's off. Any suggestions how to get the network going? Do I have to go into a Telus store to get them to transfer the data package? I thought I could do everything online.

What you want to do is go to Settings -> Netowrk -> Mobile Network -> Access Point Names and put in what you find here. That should get your device working on Telus' data network.
