Europe 30 Day pass not working

I just purchased the pass and now I have zero cell service. I've tried every suggestion on the Telus website but nothing has worked. I feel like I've wasted my money.

Which country are you roaming in? Also which device are you using?

Something to try on your device:

Android (Samsung or Pixel):
 

Tap on

- Settings

- Connections / Network and Internet

- Mobile network / Internet

 

Samsung

- Data roaming (enabled)

- Network operators 

- Select automatically (disabled)

- Let the list of carriers populate  (if more than one, try them individually until  you connect)

 

Pixel

- Carrier settings

- Roaming (enabled)

- Let the list of carriers populate  (if more than one, try them individually until  you connect)


iPhone:

Tap on
- Settings 

- Cellular

- Cellular data options

- Data Roaming (on)

 

Go back out to the Cellular screen

 

Tap on

- Network selection

- Toggle "Automatic" off and wait for it to generate a list of carriers

- Tap on a Carrier (if more than one, try them individually until  you connect)

My 14 day Europe roam package worked great on day 1. Now it does not work at all. I believe they throttle you after you use the allotted days - even though I have a lot of data available on my home plan still. My phone has become virtually a brick now unless I am on Wi-Fi. This is a very misleading plan and nobody should get it if you plan to use any amount of data. I can’t even look at google maps or text or make a phone call now. What a scam. 

Typo …. They throttle you after you use so unknown amount of allotted data*. This happened to me on Day 2 of a 14 day plan.
