Caller ID only shows the number, no name

When I receive an incoming call in the car the call display in the vehicle only shows the number but does not show the name, even though the name of the caller is in my contact list. I have iPhone 5 and the car is 2016 Subaru Forester. Any suggestions on how to get the name displayed along with the number will be appreciated. Thank you.

Have you checked Subaru forums? This seems an issue with the interface of the car radio, if it does not draw info from your contacts.

Unlike home phone, cellular Caller ID displays the incoming phone number, but not a name associated with that number, leaving your contacts list to make the connection.

Thank you. I did not check Subaru forum. Just spoke to a dealer and they said contact your phone provider. I will see if I can find some info on Subaru forum.
