I am checking my WAN IP from the router and the Internet IP from What Is My IP Address - See Your Public Address - IPv4 & IPv6 both

both look different? how can I (Telus) make it same? I am finding some difficulties when i configure the services like DynaDNS. Please suggest the best method to fix this,

You won't be able to use dynamic DNS services until the WAN IP and the public IP match. Same if you're trying to host a server of any kind. It will be impossible to connect as it is now.

The issue is something on Telus's end called carrier grade NAT or CGNAT. It has come up before on the forums and it has not always been fixable. Normally tech support likely won't be able to do anything about it and will likely refuse if you mention port forwarding at all as often the official stance is port forwarding is that it is not supported on residential connections.

Now, there was one four year old post that had some instructions that could be given to tech support. Whether or not it's still valid is unknown. Some of the newer Telus routers seem to have issues with port forwarding / CGNAT, especially the square white network access hub. On the older T3200M I have had luck with a public IP and port forwarding in most cases. There were a few odd ports that would not forward though and I suspect the limitation is on the WAN side and not with the router itself.

Hi @Nighthawk

Thanks for your suggestion.

I have reached out to the support and it took a couple of calls and spending few hours on phone to explain the issue. Unfortunately they could not help me. They said, such advance level of support are only provided for the business plan holders and not to home users. Agents were unaware of basics for this troubleshoot and suggested I need to switch to a business plans. I may be going with subscription of cloud options of the services i m hosted inside which is still cheaper than going with business plans.

My disappointment is, I have signed this 2 year contract only after taking 1 month demo, tested and satisfied that all these services were working as I needed. After 6 months Telus decided to stop this.
