Telus Booster is not accepting the default password printed on the back

I’m trying to create a new password for my wifi, but the admin page for the wifi booster is not accepting the original default password printed on the device. I used a pin to reset it, but it still says incorrect password. Everything is working, I just can't change the password.

Hi there, If you’ve reset the Wi-Fi booster to factory settings and the default password isn’t working, here are a few steps to try:

Double-check the Default Password: Sometimes the default password is case-sensitive, so ensure it’s entered exactly as shown, including any uppercase or lowercase characters.

Clear Your Browser Cache: Occasionally, your browser may retain previous login credentials, which could cause a conflict. Try logging in again after clearing the cache or use an incognito mode.

Reconnect the Device and Reattempt Reset: Try unplugging the booster for a few minutes, plug it back in, and then attempt another reset. Wait for a full reboot before trying to log in again.

If none of these steps resolve the issue, it might be best to reach out to Telus support directly, as there could be a firmware issue on the booster. They can help troubleshoot further or arrange a replacement if needed.
