I've been a Telus customer since I moved to an acreage which was 5 years ago. Since then I have had nothing but issues with reliability on the old hardware (ZTE LTE Router) and the new Smart Hub. The smart hub is what I'm using now and I'm getting random WIFI drop outs, internet connection to cell tower disconnects, 300+ms ping when gaming, should be getting 50mbs but only ever seem to get around the 35-40mbs range. Right now I'm only getting around 6mbs.
You say you don't cap speeds!!. I get the full speed for a very short window after I restart the router, why? I called to complain about this before and they told me I had to pay for a Gaming package for a lower ping on top of the existing bill for the service. Are you serious? I got it for free in the end, as it should be a part of the package to begin with. I'm paying more money every month than a fiber connection and don't even get what I pay for. Seems like you prioritized mobile phones data speeds than the home internet packages you supply. Reason I say this is because I have to use my phones data to game online using tether. Get it sorted Telus, stop stealing our money. Otherwise I'll get starlink, even though I shouldn't have to.

Hi @irishph4nt0m - If your speeds improve after rebooting the equipment, I wonder if the equipment is to blame for the issues. Have you spoken to our tech support team yet?
