Hello,
I have recently upgraded my internet plan from 3gig to 5gig. Speed test Ookla says: 4500down 4100up 1ms 4-60ms Down latency and 6ms up latency. I know i can get 5000+down and 5000+up.I 've talked to tech support via over the phone and they said we've done our part by properly provisioning your NAH along with other information of ''you're getting 75% speeds of what Telus is saying upon purchase and that's good there's nothing further more of assistance''. I'm kind of stumped on trying to obtain speeds of 5000down and 5000up..When i'm gaming my download and upload speeds go to 2300down and 3100up.
My set up:
20ft Cat8 cable straight from my NAH to my desktop 10gb NIC, there's only one network running in my place and that's my desktop.
I've troubleshooted pretty well everything anyone can think of BUT maybe there's something on the back end that needs proper pushing provisioning? I looked at my Telus NAH (NH20T) Driver and it says driver date 2006-06-21 with a version 10.0.26100.1, I'm not sure if that driver is out dated or not as I couldn't find any newer version of driver download software anywhere for it. My 10G port is solid green on the left side but the right slowly intermits to green every 2sec or so where as my NIC port they are both solid green, not sure if data is being received and sent correctly or not. I really don't think a tech needs to come out and assess anything..
Can someone maybe enlighten me as to what else i could possibly do? I have also heard that @5GisOP might be able to assist with advanced back end provisioning for me for speed test to read 5000+Down and 5000+up
Maybe a fiber tech can DM me and we can do some more advanced trouble shooting?
Thank you.

You may also be hard pressed to find a speed test server that will be capable of handling 5gbps.

Possibly, I've tested over a dozen speed test servers, sites and results are 4400down and 4100up 1ms mostly.
