NO bridge mode (t3200) ?!

Is it true there is no bridge mode on the telus t3200m modem ? I thought port 1 can be configured as bridge, but apparently this is not the case any more !

If true, this is shocking in 2020 when customers are invested in their own advanced equipment / router and unable to use them.

You can enable “bridge mode” in the T3200 settings. Or simply use port 1. Many people run their own routers. If you have Optik TV we let the T3200 handle TV services only.

Log into the T3200 (192.168.1.254), click on advance settings>click on proceed. The left side column under IP address, click on PORT Bridging.

Thanks for the clarification on bridge mode on the T3200.

On the residential 150/30 ADSL plan do you know whether you can then acquire a 2nd dynamic address on the 2nd LAN port on the T3200?

Thanks for your help.

No, the T3200M Gateway will be assigned a single IP address. Bridge mode works on the LAN side, not the WAN.
