I'm trying to give my meta quest vr a more stable signal on Wi-Fi but thought maybe static ip but cant figure out how as I add it and it disappears after i enter it there's no list to show its done

We don't offer static IP addresses with our home internet service so that is the barrier you're coming up on. Static IP service is available to business accounts, however.
