There had been an outage (allegedly) in our place in Surrey, but my neighbor who worked in Surrey they dont have service interruption, so what is this outage only in my home. After trying trouble shooting the internet still don't work.
After many many many calls with Telus, they sent a technician who was briefly into my home. To my surprise, this visit was charged and added to the monthly billing at at cost of $175!!! Why would telus do this? Selling defective service and charging it to the customer? This cost should be shouldered by Telus becuase when I signed up I expected service with no interruptions so this technician cost cost is not mine. Moreover, I expected a reduction to the monthly charges equivalent to 2 weeks for the trouble this has caused us. I read the contract and it stated that where there is service interruption a discount shall be applied. I will not pay Other charges and credit +GST on the billing statement related to this incident as this should be corrected accordingly.
