yesterday
We have lived in this townhouse for over a year and just over the last month or two we have started having trouble with our internet. We have the older modem with the 2 DSL cables on it and DSL 2 flashes almost constantly or turns off completely. We had a tech out to look at the issue today and he said the issue was likely a damaged underground cable and there was nothing he could do. We can't live with internet that only barely works. Two people in this house are in school and need a reliable internet source, and that doesn't include the streaming for TV and using our personal devices. What can we do about the cable? Would this be happening to all of the surrounding townhouses? Is this something the city would need to get involved in?
If this cannot be fixed, what alternatives do we have to the internet that we have? I will not keep paying for internet that does not work so I need an alternative.
