Cannot connect to 5ghz network

Recently ran into a problem where every time I try to connect to 5g on my router and keep getting connected no internet on all my devices. 2.4g still works and I have tried completely resetting all settings in the control panel and setting 5g back up after turning smart steering off again but still running into the same problem. Any solutions?

At this point I would try a complete reset of the device back to factory settings and see what happens. I had an issue where 5GHz devices would connect to the internet, but not to ethernet-connected devices on my network. It was solved firstly by use of a Boost mesh extender, and finally by an upgrade from the T3200M. You might be experiencing a parallel issue.
