Bulk email export from Google

I want to pull my emails out of Gmail and store them on HDDs.

I can't use the Google Takeout function 'cos Telus administers the emails.

Any thoughts on viable options?

Look into using the export options available in some email clients. Thunderbird and Outlook have this capability
