It can take an hour or more to get a hold of an agent currently. It is frustrating to wait and wait and then you don't get to a person as the call drops, or you run out of time to stay on the phone. 

 

When calling in there should be a way to get a wait number and you can input what you need to be done. And then not wait on the phone. Have it so the information waits in your spot, it says what is needed to be done and the agent gets the work task. Once the task is completed and resolved, THEN call back with the update. Also have a way to flag if your phone has the Telecommunication block. It tells the person that if they hang up, they will not be able to receive a call due to 1-800, 1-900 numbers is blocked. Then send an email with how to disable that feature. Then they will receive an email or a text message that the concern is address and the result of the concern. Or have a way in telus.com to submit the concern and we can go back to it and see the concern updated. Just like in Starlink. It's a ticket system.

 

I know that a few companies do not have the 24/7 tech support or even lines to call for billing concerns. And its great to be able to still call into a company and reach a person. But the hold times are terrible.
