Canada Post equipment return delay, but Telus charged me 125$

I returned the equipment (a TV modem interface) within the specified timeframe via Canada Post, following the established procedure. Due to the ongoing Canada Post strike, Telus provided the following statement on their website:

Well, Telus not only charged me $125 for late delivery, but after speaking with a customer service representative, he promised to remove the late fees. However, they did not keep their promise.

According to the Canada Post website, the following information is currently displayed:

This is a regrettable and unethical business practice, as it demonstrates a lack of respect for a valued customer. Telus has demonstrated a pattern of conduct that falls short of the standards expected of a reputable corporation, prioritizing financial gain over customer satisfaction.

Well, finally the TELUS_Support took care of my situation and solved my problem.

Unfortunately Canada Post has a huge backlog of Telus returns and it's unacceptable that delivery parcels (at 10km distance) takes several months to be delivered. But in other hands Telus should know that (they actually know as per their web site statement), and they should not charge the customers.

Anyway, for other with this trouble, please send an email or a message to the Telus support.

I have not yet made the payment, as I have already paid my regular bills. However, I have been informed that if I do not make the payment, my line will be disconnected. Is this a standard practice?

You mean if you don't make a payment you are out of the contract? Not aware of it being standard practice. Used to be they threatened to put a mark on your credit report.
