Game On - Xbox and Bethesda Showcase
Microsoft's Xbox is in the middle of its best non-holiday sales quarter ever, with the Xbox Series X outselling all other consoles since the beginning of the year. It's never been a better time to be on #TeamXbox with the amazing Game Pass service, not to mention a slew of incredible upcoming exclusive titles to look forward to. Sunday's Xbox and Bethesda showcase highlighted just that, showing off some of the biggest games headed our way, while also revealing some long-awaited ones too! I was extremely impressed as well with how many of these AAA titles are going to be available day one on Game Pass! Look at this infographic and tell me you're not impressed...
How awesome is that? Now, let's check out some of the highlights!
Starfield
After what seems like an eternity (in the gaming world, anyways) we finally saw real gameplay of Starfield and it looked pretty great. Think Skyrim in space meets No Man's Sky and you'll have an idea of what you're in for. With over a thousand fully immersive and explorable planets, be sure to carve out some time for this when it drops early next year.
Redfall
Arkane's co-op vampire shooter finally releases in 2023 after lengthy delays, and it looks like it was worth the wait. I'm definitely getting a Prey meets Left 4 Dead vibe here and I can't wait to dig in!
What an event! And this isn't even all of the huge announcements! From a new Forza (that somehow looks even better than Forza 5?!), to the highly anticipated horror first person game Scorn, to new expansions for TES:O and Fallout 76, there's a lot to be excited for! Not to mention the legend himself Hideo Kojima announcing that he's working exclusively with Xbox to develop a new game that will leverage cloud technology in a way that no game before it ever has. Wow! What announcements have you the most hyped? Let me know in the comments!
