Crave on TELUS - June 2022
Hey friends! Hope everyone's doing well and enjoying these warmer days. Westworld (Season 4)
Finally! I cannot wait to jump back into the universe of Westworld now that it's finally back for another season after two long years. After the first two seasons explored the android-filled theme park setting where people could live out their wildest fantasies with no real-world repercussions, the third season took a hard turn away from that as we spent most of the time in the real world. A number of 'hosts' (the aforementioned androids) made it out of their confined make-believe world and into ours, and it appears that the upcoming season will continue in the same vein. Spoilers: Will Caleb (Aaron Paul) continue his revolution to release all the hosts? Will Bernard finally understand what The Sublime really is? I can't wait to find out!
Wow, that poster looks great! I can't wait to see how everything unfolds. Oh, and now that The Man in Black is a host, hellbent on destruction...who will make it through the end of the season alive? All bets are off when the first or 8 weekly episodes streams on Crave, Sunday June 26. Don't miss it!

The Matrix: Resurrections
If you haven't been able to check out the latest sci-fi masterpiece in the Matrix universe, now's your chance. The Matrix: Resurrections is streaming right now on Crave Canada, and you're in for a wild ride. Set roughly 60 years after the third film The Matrix: Revolutions, we find Neo living a seemingly normal life as a video game developer having serious troubles distinguishing fantasy from reality. He has vague memories of being Neo, and is pulled back into the Matrix by a group of rebels, with the help of a younger programmed version of Morpheus. Together they need to fight a new powerful enemy within the system that holds Neo's true love, Trinity, captive within.
I don't want to spoil too much if you haven't seen this movie yet, but it's safe to say that if you're aware of Neo actually being the sixth iteration of 'The One', and the first to be in love...which is a source of immeasurable power and energy within the Matrix, you'll be able to guess what happens when Neo and Trinity team up to free themselves and everyone else trapped within the Matrix itself. The fight choreography, special effects, and cinematography ring true for the series, but this time we get to witness it in all of its 2021 glory so you know everything is taken up a notch. The special effects are better, the fights are mind-blowing, and you'll fall in love with the characters all over again.
