Doorbell installation issues
Got a new Telus Doorbell Camera. Cannot get past step "12C - Ring the doorbell" where the "ring" is supposed to be heard at both the doorbell and the main chime. The doorbell sometimes rings when pushed after breaker reset, sometime not. The main chime never rings when it should.
Things to note - the light on the doorbell is green, chime is buzzing even after chime adapter has been installed, voltage at the transformer is 18.4 and 18.3 at the doorbell (with new transformer). Not able to establish bluetooth connectivity. Wifi speedtest at the doorbell is 138.3 down and 38.3 up.
We've replaced both the transformer and the mechanical door chime and get the exact same behaviour with both the old and new.
Did we get a lemon? Not looking forward to spending another half day on the phone with support. Or another half day running around getting new parts and swapping things in and out.

Still no joy. Wired doorbell to transformer. Was able to finish setup via Telus Smarthome (bluetooth, wifi & thing went through a few update cycles) and it got stuck on "white"/in call - where live video feed was always on. I expected "green"/ready but thought maybe that was ok because it bypassed the mechanical chime. Hooked up the doorbell camera outside and it constantly cycled through red, orange and off. Tried with and without the chime adapter.

Hey ld25ca - Can you try a few things to see if it helps?
Disconnect the Chime Adapter Temporarily: Wire the doorbell straight through to the transformer (bypassing the indoor chime entirely) to see if Step 12C completes successfully.
