Using a Boost W-Fi 6 as a wireless booster
Hello, I have a new Boost 7 that is connected to the NAH via Ethernet. I am wondering if it is possible to use a Boost 6 as a wireless booster in the basement without needing to connect it to the NA...
Can i use them as two separate routers with different SSIDs if i wire and connect the Boost 6 to the NAH?
So both Boost 7 & Boost 6 will be connected to the NAH via ethernet, can they operate as standalone routers with different SSIDs?
I think it will work as you suggest if you connect to the fibre hub, but if you connect to the main boost, it'll act as an AP. I just messed around for a bit trying to use a second boost wifi 6 unit as a wireless extender, but even after setting the easy mesh to "agent" in the admin settings, it reverts to "controller".
