Telus TV

I have deleted and re-installed the Telus TV+ app on my devices (Apple) to view channels that I am subscribed to.  I would like to watch local (BC) channels like CHEK however the app says the channel is not connected to a Telus home network.  Internet connection is through Telus.  All network related equipment is Telus.  I have made sure I have the most recent version of the Telus TV+ app.  I cannot figure out why the app doesn't permit view of local channels?  Any advice?
