20 days agoOh, if you're on our new digital equipment, yes they'd be three digit codes. The steps above still apply, but here's the specific extra codes to try first:
010
009
018
180
063

Press and hold the Options button for 3 seconds until you see the little green light flash twice.
Holding the options button on the new TELUS TV Remote does nothing. After about 15 seconds the green light just goes away.

Gotcha. If you're using the new remote, the process is slightly different with a few different codes to try. The new remote utilizes OK + Mute instead of the Options button. So the process would be as follows:
1. Press and hold the OK and Mute buttons at the same time for 3 seconds. The little green light at the top should turn and stay solid green.
2. Type in 0009. The green light should flash twice.
3. Test the volume to see if it changes it on your TV. If it does, press OK to save.
4. If it doesn't work, repeat Step 1 and try 0093.
There's also another method with our latest Optik equipment. You can also try this:
1. Using the remote (which should already be controlling the TELUS Optik box with no issues), go to the Home Screen.
2. Navigate to Settings (the little gear icon). Then, go do Device Settings and then Remotes & Accessories.
3. Select Program Remote with TV.
4. Follow the on-screen prompts, and when it asks for your brand, select Sharp.
5. The box should then automatically test dozens of code profiles one by one for you.
Let us know if either of those processes work.

You suggested trying 0009 and 0093 however this remote appears to only accept a 3-digit code.
