1,2,3 are old problems solved multiple times. I have previously suggested with evidence that the geeks that resolve computer programming are leap frogging the guy doing the same job on another problem. They both (or more than 2) start with the current version of the software to find the bug they are working on. First one to fix updates the software. But the others are still working on the original version so when they patch a fix they update with a new version which then overwrites the previous fix.
JMO based on one or two items I caught and they then fixed again. What is baffling me is I do not have 1-3 issues today, but then updates are not rolled out at the same time, more like a rolling rollout over days.

TELUS Team Memberon #4 - all live sports automatically have 60 minutes added to the recording time (in addition to the 2 minutes pre-padding). For a 3h scheduled Blue Jays game, the recording will be 4h2m. Tennis matches have 90 minutes added. For the odd rain delay, you can record the subsequent episode or for things like 18-inning games or triple overtime games, the team does generally add that manually to all recordings.
Yes I believe you are correct that update was done last year, since then not all sports were extended as some have posted.
But yes they should all have 90 min added, or will added time preempt schedule shows, that could be why some are 60.
Can an automatic 5 or 10 minutes be added to all recordings? HBO programs and shows that are filmed for streaming but shown on regular channels (e.g., Star Trek: Strange New Worlds - no, I'm not adding a Paramount+ subscription to my plan 🙂) frequently start after the hour and end 5-10 minutes after.
Why tennis and not all sports?

When we looked at the data, tennis was far more likely than other sports to run more than an hour over (often because in tennis tournaments the courts are used back-to-back so consecutive overruns compound). 60 minutes covered the overwhelming majority of use cases for other sports. I'm not saying it's perfect, but 18-inning baseball games and triple overtime hockey games are exceedingly rare. For example, in 2025 there were 3 regular season MLB games that ran longer than 3:30 (out of 2,430 games). In the 2026 Stanley Cup playoffs (regular season only has 5 min 3-on-3), there were 4 games that went to double OT (out of 82), with 2 games ending ~5 minutes into double OT and 2 games ending ~13 minutes into double OT. The former 2 ended before 4 hours while the latter 2 were likely right around 4 hours.
Telus could have provided that info with the setup. I only found out after talking to a agent.
