Telus Suspended Services After Entering Into a Payment Agreement
I am really frustrated with Telus Home Services, I have been a customer for 5+ years without any billing and payment issues. A little over a month ago I had my Telus Modem unexpectedly come off of the wall and it broke the fiber optics cable requiring a technician to come out and repair it. The clips that hold the modem in the mounting bracket don't fit tight enough to make it securely clip, but I was charged $200 for the repair anyways... last month I recieved a notice because I wasn't able to pay the full amount of the repair on-top of my regular billing, I had paid half of it. Upon noticing this I immediately entered into a payment plan to prevent suspension, paid the agreed amount that day and had to pay the balance by August 1st. Today is the 23rd of July, I paid the remaining balance this morning but this afternoon my service stopped working. I recieved no notifications. I have no idea how long is it going to take to get my service restored, I reported the payment when I called Telus and was informed of the suspension by the automated system but was not able to speak with anyone.
I am incredibly frustrated, especially after over 5 years of contracts without any problems

Hi there, we're truly sorry to hear about your experience and the frustration this has caused. If your payment was made this morning and your services were suspended today, it’s possible the restoration is still pending system processing. Services typically restore automatically within a few hours once the payment is posted, but delays can sometimes occur. To ensure we get this resolved for you, please send us a private message with your account details. We’ll verify the payment, confirm the current status, and do what we can to help restore your service.
