Telus Remote Replacement for TV Digital Box

I have tried numerous times to get 2 New Remotes as our Dog has chewed them up. I managed once to finally get them, but I need more and have called twice now , and they say they will send them but it doesn't happen, nor do I get a tracking number.

 

I don't understand why it is so difficult to get this done. Basically this has been ongoing since March. 

 

I tried to reply to a similar post, but it won't let me, so I am sorry if it's a duplicate topic.

 

 

  • I was in a conversation with a Telus Support Member, but now for some reason I can't reply to him or create a new message. This is still not resolved. Appears there is a Back Door issue with wanting to send a Technician with the replacement remotes.

    Jayk Sorry to hear about the trouble with getting some new remotes. Which set to box are you currently using?

      Hi it is the Telustv-21T. The remote is pictured in the first post. They were getting me 2 replacements and I would pay for the 3rd.

      I know they have successfully sent to me before, but only after trying 5 different times with Phoning in. The order # was 1214481076 and the fellow told me he had to bypass the back end.

      I gave the telus support all my info and he sent me a message to authenticate my account. But for some reason I can't reply to the message now

        The messaging on the forum has been fixed and I was able to reply to the Support team.

  • On day one of this new tuner I wanted a second remote. So was not urgent. I discovered then that they don't/didn't stock any either in stores or in a warehouse. Today may be different.

    After being frustrated like you I went into a store and asked nice for a second remote. The salesperson, who I hope still has a job, sold me one taken out of the box that includes the tuner.

    Good luck with getting a new remote.

  • Thanks for the reply but The Stores do not carry this remote. It has to be done contacting Telus. I just need a representative that knows how to do it. 

    They managed once to send them to me. But over 5 times not successful.

    Have you tried taking the damaged remote to a Telus store for replacement?
