Removing hazardous unused old telephone line

We got a new pole and BC hydro, telus fibre, Rogers all moved to the new pole. There is this old Telus telephone line unused and cut off still attached to the old rotting pole on one end and the BC hydro pole across the street. It is rather hazardous as it is low hanging on my property and old rotting pole may fall in next wind, and if that happens this telephone line will fall on to traffic on the road. Called Telus, an agent with thick accent says he will send email to the cable repair team to call me no eta. 3 days later, no call. I also used the Telus online form to report low hanging cable/damage, but nothing happens. Kinda stuck dealing with this behemoth of bureaucracy.
