Solved

Not getting the 1.5gbps after upgrade.

Recently upgraded to 1.5gbps plan and got a new modem and WiFi Hub.  Problem is that my speed maxes out at 940mbps.  My modem is in my garage.  My Wifi hub is the one with 3 Ethernet plugs (1 purple and 2 white).

Modem ---> Wall Ethernet --> WiFi Hub -----> My PC

                                                               |-----> Other PCs

Then I thought, Why not just bypass the WiFI Hub and connect it directly to my pc.

Modem ---> Wall Ethernet ---> My PC

On this setup, I get the rated 1.5gbps speed.  This meant that the problem was the Wifi Hub.

Is there a setting in the Wifi Hub's page that I need to change?  There is only 9 boxes in the main page (System Info, Broadband, Internet Access, Local Network, Devices, Wan Services, Firewall, Diagnostics and Sharing).  I have checked each of them and didnt find anything related. I am now considering on returning the WiFi Hub and get my own router if I cant find a solution to this.

    When dealing with Wi-Fi, there is always a number of factors that can come in to play which would impact speed. Also of note, most devices will not be able to attain a full 1.5 Gbps on a single device, as it's intended to be shared among multiple devices. We'll send you a private message to discuss further, thanks!

      Actually I found out that the technician used a wifi6 access point, not a wifi6e access point. Wifi6 has 1x 2.5g port(purple) and 2x 1gbps ports.  Wifi6e has 1x 5g port(purple), 1x 2.5g port and 1x 1g port.  Then access port that i should have gotten was the WiFi6e.
