Fibre Rollout in Scenic Acres, Calgary
Telus started a fibre rollout for scenic acres in calgary in 2021. It seems to be paused at the moment about a block from my residence. I was wondering when the rollout will continue so I can get fibre here.

I actually had the fiber optic installers come to my house and I signed the form they required about 5-6 years ago. That was the last I heard anything. I heard reason was about the rocky conditions as well. I must have called at least 6 times demanding some answers and never got more than the answer above. What drives me crazy is that they know the reasons why and will not acknowledge them. As customers we just want to know why and be treated as valuable customers and not like idiots. I have been with Telus for over 25 years and similar customer service experiences(or lack there of) has made me decide to leave Telus when my contract expires in 2026. Rogers and Bell have more offerings...same price and CAN"T be any worse.
Try asking Telus about satellite phones services and you will get the same canned response as above that doesn't say anything.
