Door knocker ignoring signs

Tonight in Calgary, I had a door knocker in a Telus uniform walk up to my house, read the sign overtop of my ring doorbell out loud “do not knock or ring”, he scoffs and then says out loud “can I tap” and proceeds to loudly tap on my front door. This sent my dog into a frenzy and woke up my baby. The sign is there for a reason!
