The gateway appears to be ISP-locked and does not expose advanced Wi-Fi settings.
- There is no visible option to disable band steering or to separate the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi networks into separate SSIDs.
- This has created compatibility issues with several smart-home devices that require a dedicated 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.
I have already completed extensive troubleshooting on the device side, including factory resets and testing with multiple phones and computers. Based on this testing, the limitation appears to be related to the gateway’s Wi-Fi configuration rather than the end devices.
