line out of commision

Hello after engaging with click before you dig I've determined that I have a telus copper line in my backyard right where I want to plan a tree. It's only a foot down. The cable is not being used and has not been for quite some time. Telus Pure fiber is scheduled to be installed in my area this summer. Due to the tree i'm planting, i'm hoping to decommission it soon. Who do I contact please?
