Closed Captions on Digital TV Box

Currently, the TELUS TV+ app uses its own caption settings, which are independent of the STB (set-top box) settings menu. This means that any changes made in Accessibility / Display / Closed Captions on the STB will not override or apply to captions within the TELUS TV+ app or certain streaming services. At this time, there isn’t a way to have the STB caption preferences automatically apply to live TV through the app. We’ve shared your feedback with the relevant teams as part of ongoing improvements to the Android TV platform and accessibility features. While we don’t have a confirmed rollout date for this functionality, your input helps prioritize these updates.
YES no change in size or location of CC I rebooted twice as suggested on the screen first in safe mode which made no difference in the captions, then again a standard re start, with the same result. any assistance as to how to get the captions set as I have requested in Accessibility / Display / closed captions will be appreciated.
