  • Just to be clear, I was a new customer who switched the home internet, mobile service and a bought a new S25 Ultra through a Telemarketer. I did almost everything until backing up my WhatsApp stuff. So, I dropped into the Richmond Center location.
I was told I didn't bought from him so I have to pay.

That situation does change things but please send us a private message and we can look at ways to help with that cost

Hi johnluk3 - it's possible they have this charge for the service - it would be best to check with the store to see if that's a standard fee

To add to this. If someone were to take their phones anywhere to get photos etc. transferred, the business would charge them for it and likely charge more than just $15. I can only imagine what Geek Squad would charge for that service.
