Call from "Telus Mobility" saying i will receive a free phone
Just got a call from 604-292-8583 saying im going to get a free phone. But they asked to confirm my email with them and i said "you called me, please tell me the email you have on file" and they said they couldn't. this sounds like fraud to me. is there a list of valid telus numbers?

The fear of missing out (FOMO) and greed is what scammers count on. Treat all surprise calls offering anything free or discounts or refunds or requests to help a Nigerian prince as scams.
i'm replying to my own message because i just received another call from a different number...343-954-3470 ... this time wanting to know how much i pay for my mobility and saying they are giving me a discount.
