Do callers know you are not in canada and roaming abroad?

If I’m travelling outside Canada and someone calls my Telus number, will they be able to tell I’m not in Canada? Like will anything show up differently on their end, or does it just ring through normally with my regular Canadian number showing?

Im in italy right now btw.

  • Everything will be just as if you were still at home. And yes, in Europe the ringtone is actually slightly different; more monotone instead of that two tone fluttering sound.

In short, no they wouldn't know. Ring tone would be the same (it's actually different in Europe!), and the network handles routing entirely in the background so there'd be no indication.

Thank you! Do you mean the ringtone is different in europe, but they will only hear the canada ringtone? I’m getting vodafone btw
