APN for MMS only
Is it possible to use an APN that has type: mms. Instead of default,mms. I do not have a data plan and only want to use the MMS messaging that I pay for.
- Hello MrBlaster18, MMS from your phone will use the mobile data network for pictures, videos or very long text. You cannot change it otherwise your phone won't be able to use that feature.

Yes, but MMS messages go through a proxy so the data they use isn't billed. I am asking if I can limit data use to only traffic through the MMS proxy by removing 'default' from the setting APN type. When I make a new APN for TELUS with this change, it is not selectable.
