APN for MMS only
Is it possible to use an APN that has type: mms. Instead of default,mms. I do not have a data plan and only want to use the MMS messaging that I pay for.

- Yes, but MMS messages go through a proxy so the data they use isn't billed. I am asking if I can limit data use to only traffic through the MMS proxy by removing 'default' from the setting APN type. When I make a new APN for TELUS with this change, it is not selectable.

Sadly I don't have the exact answer but I don't think it's possible to change it. You can try to contact their tech team but I'm 100% sure they'll you it cannot be modified.
But it was working before "a contract was broken" between Telus and the owner of Telus' MMS software was the answer today from tach support higher ups
no way out?
