🎉We're excited to announce that the TELUS TV+ app is now available on Samsung and LG Smart TVs! 🍾
You'll see the same experience you're used to on the TELUS TV Digital Box(es), Apple TV, Android TV, Fire TV, mobile app and web browser. You'll see all of the channels (including 4K) included your subscription as well as the ability to set/edit/watch your cloud recordings and access your full profiles (bookmarks, favourites, etc.).
To get started, you'll need a Samsung TV from 2021 or newer running Tizen 6+ or an LG TV from 2020 or newer running WebOS 5+. Simply search for TELUS in the apps interface on your TV, download, login using your My TELUS or Koodo account login details, and start streaming.

- FergmanNeighbourYes. App jumps to earlier times instead of current time on the guide when first turning it on. If watching a station that is currently being recorded. It is difficult to start at the beginning. App keeps jumping to the current time of the recording. If someone is watching a recorded session on a different TV and is ahead in the recording, App will give unexpected error on the other TV. You can restart it but it will go a few minutes and error again.Other issues but those are the most annoying.Sent from my iPhone

It's great and all to have this service however, it would help a lot if it actually worked. For two days I've been trying to sign in to the app I downloaded onto my one year old LG Smart TV. If it won't accept my email and password it just comes up as an error occurred. This is only an issue because my one year old digital box has failed and I've been without access for three days. A new box is being sent which will add on another two or three days. Even now when registering to reply to the original message from Telus on this page my i.d. wouldn't work. I'm curious why Telus would require me to sign in again after I have already signed in to My Telus. The Telus system including the online support option is clunky. Even the digital box channel guide and recording methods are clunky and unintuitive. The older boxes were configured better a few years ago. When I arranged to have a new digital box the rep kindly told me that I couldn't just exchange the equipment at a local Telus retailer and that I'd have to wait for it to be sent. Apparently the support representatives have given management feedback that customers aren't satisfied with this policy. Has anyone experienced any of these difficulties at all?

Since you had trouble logging in with your username and credentials, there's a chance either the username itself or your password is incorrect (or you've been locked out due to the number of attempts). If you confirmed that they work at www.telus.com/mytelus and at www.telustvplus.com, then you should be good to go. If they fail at www.telus.com/mytelus then you'd need to reset them. If they fail however at www.telustvplus.com then there may be an issue with your account that would require intervention by our team.

Just bought Samsung U8200F 50 inch TV. The Telus TV + app is not available. The 58 inch floor display has the app. Should this model and size be supported? If so how can I get it?

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. Samsung (and other TV providers) are constantly releasing new models, so the team is updating the lists of compatible models with Samsung's app store as it looks like U8200F was not on the list. I will reply here when there's anything to share.

Hi thanks for the quick response! Are you able to share which 50 inch Samsung models are compatible? Also will the U8200F eventually get the app?

The LG app is pretty clunky, much smoother on AppleTV.

Good to have but I don't get 5.1 audio, only 2.0 but that is probably a limitation of LG and WebOS.
