What is the latest version for Telus+ app on a Samsung TV?

15 days agoHey Fergman - we can check on this. Are you having issues?
- Fergman15 days agoNeighbourYes. App jumps to earlier times instead of current time on the guide when first turning it on. If watching a station that is currently being recorded. It is difficult to start at the beginning. App keeps jumping to the current time of the recording. If someone is watching a recorded session on a different TV and is ahead in the recording, App will give unexpected error on the other TV. You can restart it but it will go a few minutes and error again.Other issues but those are the most annoying.Sent from my iPhone

Thanks for the feedback.
When you are done watching TV, do you close the app, press the Home button on your Samsung remote or turn the TV off? The Tizen OS doesn't do a great job of backgrounding apps, so I've found that closing the app (press and hold the back/exit button) leads to better performance and a cleaner subsequent start-up experience (the guide always loads the correct time for me when I do this).
For watching in-progress recordings, how are you accessing the recording? Are you tuning to the channel via Live TV/Guide or going to Recordings menu? Recordings menu should launch from the beginning of the Recording while tuning to the channel would go to the live airing point. When you say 'jumping' is the progress of the program jumping around without pressing any buttons on the remote? Or something else? It would be helpful to understand exactly what you're seeing and any action you took immediately prior to the jumping.
Finally, when the same recording is being played on 2 separate TVs but at different progress points, are both TVs Samsung TVs? Or is it a mix of platforms like Android TV, Fire TV, Apple TV etc.? And is there an error code on the screen? Is this also for in-progress recordings or for completed recordings? I don't know that our testers normally capture this scenario, but I can pass it along. I just tried playing a recording on an iPad and a Samsung TV and it was fine for 10 minutes, so it would be helpful to understand your setup.
More detail is better so that the team can try and reproduce to fix! Thanks.
