How to return the Google digital tv box

I have recently upgraded to the new Telus TV+ service. I was sent a single Google digital box, which I don’t need, since the TVs in my household have an AppleTV attached to them. Is there a way I can send the Google box back to Telus? Calling support seems to make them think I want to cancel the service which I don’t want to do

    You definitely should be able to if you clearly explain to the agent you speak with what you're trying to do.

    Put it in a safe place until you change your services. You then won’t have to spend time explaining you returned it earlier.
