Roaming and Incoming Text messages
Hi,
I am currently out of the country. My current settings on my iPhone is
Airplane Mode - ON
Cellular Data - OFF
Cellular Data Options - Roaming Off
Wi-fi calling - ON
How can I received One-time passcodes from Bank or Amazon etc.? Can I modify some settings so I can continue to receive free in-coming text messages and do not incur additional roaming charges.

- In some cases. iMessage can receive texts over WiFi Calling but sometimes incoming SMS and I Messages will require that data connection to the cellular network to be active. An Android device using WiFi Calling can send and receive SMS/MMS messages over WiFi without the need to connect to cellular. This will more than likely not change with iMessage until Apple adopts RCS sometime in 2024.
